Broad range of publications dealing with British 18th century history, and in particular that of the Jacobites and their material culture, much of which is ground-breaking research. An original approach with illuminating interpretation, with a sound and logical reasoning at its foundation. Over twenty-five papers and reviews dealing with the British 18th century history; Neil Guthrie’s most recent publication is The Material Culture of the Jacobites (Cambridge Universiy Press, 2013).
