Adam Ford has made a significant contribution to archaeology, especially in Australia in both local government and the private sector. He has worked with a wide range of clients including major infrastructure and urban regeneration projects. He has also written and presented the successful TV series "Who’s Been Sleeping in My House?" (ABC1 - three series) that promotes local history and emphasises the roles of museums, libraries and local history societies in the curation of cultural wealth. Has worked for RCHM(E) as a Surveyor and Researcher; as Archaeologist for the Ministry of Defence at Waltham Abbey Gunpowder Works; as Archaeological advisor to the City of Sydney, and as New South Wales Government Archaeologist. In recent years he has founded his own consultancy company undertaking a wide range of heritage mitigation solutions for clients throughout Australia. He has authored numerous publications and reports for a wide range of clients.
