Tiva Montalbano is an accomplished heritage manager, particularly in the field of public archaeology. Currently with Wessex Archaeology, she has previously worked for World Heritage UK, The Prince’s Foundation, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, the Fisrt World War Memorials programme (where she was the Programme Manager) and English Heritage. She has excellent interpersonal skills and is a creative problem solver, most evident in her leadership of the Strata Florida site in Wales or her delivery of the £4.2m war memorial project. Her abilities include the ability to develop long term strategies, such as Heritage Counts and for Wessex Archaeology. She is passionate about the importance of archaeology for a wider public, as is evident, for example, in her work for the National Museum of the Royal Navy’s Access Committee.
