Grounds for election
Lisa Brundle is fully established professionally in the field of archaeology. She completed an AHRC-funded PhD in early Anglo-Saxon mortuary archaeology and art in 2014 at Durham University, now published with British Archaeological Reports and in peer-reviewed journals including Medieval Archaeology. She then worked in commercial archaeology, and lectured in archaeology at the Workers’ Educational Association, and Canterbury Christ Church University. She joined the Portable Antiquities Scheme in 2018 and is now the permanent Finds Liaison Officer for Lincolnshire. In 2020, she was funded to lead investigation of an unknown early Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Cammeringham, Lincs. In 2022 Lisa was appointed Post-Doctoral Research Assistant (UCLAN) working with Duncan Sayer on Oakington and early medieval burial behaviour.
