Grounds for election

Amy Bogaard is a renowned expert in the development and history of farming and of its attendant consequences, primarily inequality. She taught at the University of Nottingham 2003-2007, before moving to Oxford to take up a lectureship in Neolithic and Bronze Age archaeology, being subsequently promoted to a professorship. She will become Professor of European Archaeology, Oxford in 2023. Head of the School of Archaeology, Oxford 2019 and 2023. She has held major grants including two ERC awards and a NERC grant.
