Teaching at University of North Carolina Wilmington 2004-21, Professor 2017-21. Her research interests include the design and production of 12th-century architecture and sculpture; the use of geo-spatial technology in the study of medieval architecture; medieval pilgrimage and viewer response to architectural imagery; late medieval art and devotion to bodily fluids; and gender and gendered response to devotional images. AVISTA President 2014, on Board of Directors since 2001. Colloquium organiser and participant (2013-present) All Things Stone: New Research into Medieval Masons and Sculptors. Associate Editor, Peregrinations With J. Sperling and M.
