Grounds for election

Lucy Morton's entire career has been in the field of antique gold and silver. For many years she worked for antique dealers J. H. Bourdon-Smith and Partridge Fine Arts (for whom she compiled an annual catalogue of fine and decorative arts). She is a long-standing committee member of the Silver Society and from 2009 to the present she has worked with great distinction as editor of 'Silver Studies', the annual journal of the Society. In addition to the above, she is a liveryman of the Goldsmiths' Company and a past or present member of that Company's Antique Plate Committee and Collections Committee.
