Grounds for election

Associate Professor Greatley-Hirsch is an eminent scholar of early modern material and textual cultures who has made significant contributions to the promotion of antiquarian research and bibliographic knowledge via digital technology. These include being a founding editor of the Digital Renaissance Editions (2006) and a contributing or general editor on such digital projects as The Map of Early Modern London, Bibliography of Editions of Early English Drama, both Internet Shakespeare Editions and New Internet Shakespeare Editions, Linked Early Modern Drama Online, and CADRE: Co-Authored Drama in Renaissance England. Associate Professor Greatley-Hirsch was also an academic consultant on a digital facsimile of the Bodleian Libraries copy of the Shakespeare First Folio (2013). He has been the recipient of numerous accolades for best publication or innovation in research and is a Fellow of both the Royal Historical Society (2021) and the Higher Education Academy (2021).
