Grounds for election

Elizabeth Clark Ashby has worked at the Royal Library, Windsor Castle, part of Royal Collection Trust (RCT), since 2008. Involvement in RCT exhibitions has led to contributions to "The First Georgians: Art and Monarchy" (2014), and "Charles II: Art and Power" (2017). She curated the exhibition "Shakespeare in the Royal Library" in 2016 and continues to support the AHRC-funded "Shakespeare in the Royal Collection" project. Most recently, Elizabeth has worked on a substantial archive of correspondence relating to Queen Mary's Dolls' House, which provides a snapshot of the domestic and intellectual life of the 1920s. Her new volume, "The Miniature Library of Queen Mary's Dolls' House" (RCT, Jan. 2024), has all the makings of a best-seller.
