Grounds for election

As Cathedrals and Major Churches Officer, Adrian Daffern is closely involved in the conservation and management of the historic fabric of the 42 cathedrals and 320 major churches of the Church of England, advising deans, chapters and dioceses on renovations and alterations as well as visiting buildings and giving talks and lectures. In addition to his ministry as Canon Precentor of Coventry, Rector of Woodstock and Bladon and latterly Vicar of Great St Mary’s in Cambridge, he undertook an eight-year research project to create the new recension of the Coronation liturgy used in 2023, for which he also wrote the official commentary.
