Professor Jamroziak is a world-leading scholar of medieval monasticism, especially the Cistercians. Author of four monographs, several edited volumes and numerous articles and book chapters, her research has helped reshape scholarly and public understanding of the monastic orders in the late Middle Ages both in the British Isles and Europe more widely. Tireless in the promotion her scholarly discipline, a generous research supervisor and an inspirational teacher, Professor Jamroziak is a credit to the field of medieval studies.
