Grounds for election

Dr Tim Myatt is an anthropologist with an Oxford PhD on the role of Tibetan material culture in British museum collections. Aside from his expert interest in Tibetan objects and cultural exchange, his career has been more generally concerned with art and heritage management, and public engagement. He has worked for the Pitt-Rivers Museum as manager of digital partnerships, and has also been a Trustee of the Museum of Freemasonry, where he was responsible for developing the strategic plan. He has also, as trustee, been responsible for the governance of the Oxford Union Society library, and the care of its fragile Pre-Raphaelite decoration. At Campion Hall, Oxford, where he is now bursar, he is responsible for the conservation of the Grade 2* Lutyens building and supports the management of the library, art, and archives. He has been instrumental in the re-instatement of original Lutyens paint schemes in Chapel and Old Common Room, and in the re-instatement of Lutyens' garden fountain.
