Grounds for election

My nomination of him is based on my close knowledge of his professional work in both field archaeology and museum studies. He has many years of fieldwork in North Africa bot excavations of the French Canadian team at Carthage as well as fieldworkk in Tunisia and more recent sites in Québec. In addition to Roman North Africa he is a recognised specialist in ancient glass. He has also worked during the last 25 years as my editorial assistant for the series Monumenta Grace et Romana (Published Brill, Leiden) and McGill University Monographs in Classical Archaeology and History (originally published Gieben of Amsterdam but more recently transferred to Brill).
