Grounds for election

In a heritage-focused career of 21 years, Amanda has combined field archaeology practice with education and public engagement, from Norton Priory Trust via Education Manager for EH SW Region and Stonehenge, to delivering professional training for the archaeology and built environment sectors as EH’s Training Manager. A major success has been the Historic Environment Local Management (HELM) training programme, which is now well known for providing, information, training and support for local authority planning and historic environment services. From 2011, her current role has widened to managing EH’s training team, archaeological Science Advice team and guidance and knowledge transfer teams. She has played a critical role in delivering heritage training for thousands of individuals and organisations.
