Grounds for election

Rupert has been in archaeological practice since 2005. He has a wide range of experience in managing, directing and undertaking commercial archaeological projects of most periods and types, including geophysical surveys, open-area excavations, evaluation, watching briefs, fieldwalking and building recording projects. Rupert regularly prepares Written Scheme of Investigations, project proposals and client reports as well as undertaking outreach programmes within local schools and building relationships with community archaeology groups. A list of Rupert’s publications and reports would be too long to include in this application, but it would include grey literature reports as well as contributions to the Industrial Archaeology Review and Archaeologia Aeliana. Rupert is a full member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.
