Grounds for election

Methuen has an extremely wide expertise in Church History, with original grounding in the Reformation, and is co-editor of the influential serial 'Studies in Church History'. She has authored more than 75 publications in both English and German, mainly in the form of research articles, but including two monographs and a textbook. A third monograph, 'George Bell and the Early Ecumenical Movement', is nearing completion. She is active in ecumenical and Anglican theology and education.
