Grounds for election

Anya’s PhD research on London’s livery halls was published in ‘Court, Country, City: British Art and Architecture 1660-1735’, (YUP, 2016), The Georgian Group Journal (2018), and ‘The Livery Halls of the City of London’, 2018, co-authored with Henry Russell (FSA). Anya was Research Curator on the Painted Hall project at Greenwich, where she produced a catalogue of James Thornhill’s preparatory sketches for the scheme, co-authored a second book ‘The Painted Hall: Sir James Thornhill’s masterpiece at Greenwich’, and contributed to the project Advisory Panel. She has contributed to academic conferences such as the British Murals Network’s Murals in Britain 1600-1750, New Insights into Sixteenth- and Seventeenth Century British Architecture, the Georgian Group’s Wren 300 symposium, and the Queen's House 400th Anniversary Conference. She is a trustee of Sherborne House, Dorset, with a staircase mural by Thornhill. British art and architecture 1660-1730 is an ongoing research interest.
