Anooshka Rawden is a leading heritage professional with over two decades of experience with organisations including the Science Museum Group, the Society of Antiquaries, the Society for Museum Archaeology and The Novium Museum, Chichester. She is currently the Cultural Heritage Strategic Lead for the South Downs National Park Authority where she is recognised as a trusted source of leadership and specialist advice for museums, heritage sites and strategic networks. Anooshka’s heritage sector leadership extends to sitting on the boards of the Joint Statement Group for the Historic Environment, Culture East Sussex, the Arts Council Accreditation Committee, and the National Heritage Lottery Fund London & South committee. She is co-author of three Society for Museum Archaeology (SMA) annual survey reports, providing crucial advocacy data on sector wide challenges and the SMA’s Standards and Guidance in the Care of Archaeological Collections.
