Grounds for election

Dr Monteil is a leading specialist on Roman samian pottery. Having completed her PhD (Samian pottery from London), she held a Leverhulme post-doctoral fellowship at Nottingham University. Since 2011 she has researched samian assemblages from many commercial and research projects across the UK, including the major projects on the A1 at Scotch Corner and Catterick, publishing 16 such reports as well as 6 other substantial papers. She was a co-author of the Samian Research Framework published by in the Journal of Roman Pottery Studies in 2012.
