Grounds for election

Dr Rempel is a specialist in Greek Iron Age archaeology with a particular focus on the Black Sea region. She has published as series of papers on this subject in major journals and edited volumes. She has been involved in leading fieldwork in Ukraine, Türkiye and Armenia since 2004, most recently as a Senior Collaborator on the excavations at Sinope, Türkiye contributing substantially to publication of the site (in press).
