Grounds for election

Mark Lake teaches Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, UCL. He is a specialist in the development and use of quantitative and computational methods for studying the past, especially agent-based computer simulation and geographical information systems. His books include Geographical Information Systems in Archaeology (2006, Cambridge UP), jointly authored with James Conolly; Computational Approaches to Archaeological Spaces (2013, Left Coast Press), jointly edited with Andrew Bevan; and Archaeological Simulation: Into the 21st Century (2010, University of Utah Press), jointly with Andre Costopoulos. He has published many papers on GIS and simulation as applied to Archaeology.
