Grounds for election

Has made a major contribution to the study of Roman and prehistoric pottery in London and the south-east. Began work at Museum of London Archaeology Services as a pottery specialist and later as a project manager, publishing a number of important pottery reports. As Programme Manager for Archaeology in the Continuing Education Faculty at Birkbeck, University of London, was responsible for all part-time archaeology courses. Since 2005 has worked as Assistant Director at Archaeology South-East, where she is in charge of the post-excavation programme and specialist services. Has published papers on pottery in several academic volumes. Involvement with education includes teaching pottery specialists at MoLAS and currently the training of others in the management of archaeological projects. Has served as Treasurer and Secretary of the Study Group for Roman Pottery, and as committee member of the Prehistoric Ceramic Research Group and the London and Middlesex Archaeological Society.
