Jamie Quartermaine has been a project officer and then a senior project manager at Oxford Archaeology North since 1984, and has considerable experience of all aspects of commercial archaeology. A leading authority on archaeological landscapes, landscape recording, building surveys, and prehistoric stone quarries. Has published numerous monographs on archaeological landscapes, and has managed of over 400 projects. He pioneered archaeological survey techniques in this country since the 1990s.
