Grounds for election

Dr Lewis is a well-established academic archaeologist with over 13 years experience of teaching archaeology and heritage in higher education, as well as nearly two decades researching and conducting archaeological fieldwork. Her research interests focus on the prehistoric landscapes of Western Britain. Dr Lewis has conducted numerous fieldwork projects on prehistoric ceremonial monuments, including work at Bredon (Worc.) and Stanton Drew, the Priddy Circles and Chilcompton (Somerset). Her research outputs consist of a monograph based on her doctoral research (Archaeopress, 2005) and a series of book chapters and articles in regional and national journals. Dr Lewis is a member of many learned societies and holds positions of responsibility on advisory committees of key significance to the West Country and the Welsh Borders.
