Grounds for election

Marc Fecker has a wide-ranging knowledge of art, architecture and design with an emphasis on 18th and 19th century painting and furniture. He has published with William Schupbach, in The Burlington Magazine, April 2012 entitled 'A recently discovered portrait of the surgeon Ange Bernard Imbert-Delonnes (1747-1818) by Pierre Chasselat’. Mr Fecker has also curated eight exhibitions of fine art at Didier Aaron in London where he is the manager. Fecker is fluent in English, French and German, has valuable connections in the academic and commercial art world, and is keen to take an active part in the Society of Antiquaries. He is a valued member of the Decorative Arts Society where his contribution has been both academic and practical.He is also an alumnus of the The Royal Collection Studies, The Attingham Trust, 2014. Marc Fecker is a cultivated individual of the highest possible integrity who at 43 has much to offer the Society with its national and international identity.
