Grounds for election

Dr Crozier is the Director of the Archaeology Studies Program's Human Osteology Laboratory at the University of the Philippines. Her research is focused on reconstruction and understanding of past mortuary practices through the analysis of human remains. Although initially researching and publishing on the Neolithic of Orkney, Dr Crozier is now focusing on and running a number of projects based on skeletal remains from the Philippines with two projects. The first explores the preservation patterns in human remains and their implications for our interpretations of disarticulated and fragmentary/isolated human bones. The second project involves the detailed analysis of human crania displaying signs of artificial deformation from the private collection of the University of San Carlos, Cebu. She has published a number of publications arising from her work.
