Archaeologist, specialising in post excavation, archives and publication. Currently freelance.

Grounds for election

Sue is a specialist in post-Roman ceramics and human skeletal remains and has published widely on both. She has worked in East Anglia and in Scotland as a post-excavation manager and freelance. As well as producing hundreds of specialist reports she has co-ordinated and edited several major site publications (such as Brandon, Suffolk in East Anglian Archaeology in 2014). She is founder of the Osteoarchaeological Research Group, and formerly edited their Newsletter and Proceedings. She is an active member of the Medieval Pottery Research Group, previously their Assistant Secretary, Newsletter Editor and webmaster and she has edited Archaeology Scotland magazine since 2007. She has an interest in computing and has published a website which covers various aspects of archaeology, with particular emphasis on her specialisms, and which is intended as a teaching medium (www.spoilheap.co.uk).
