Grounds for election

Dr Hannah Fluck is an Historic Environment Intelligence Officer working for Historic England researching and providing guidance for environmental impacts on heritage assets. She is a published academic with a research interest in Lower Palaeolithic technology and landscape use. Dr Fluck undertook her doctoral research on Middle Pleistocene lithic industries across Europe and continued research into areas as diverse as early weapon manufacture and the Mousterian of Iberia, undertaking Palaeolithic fieldwork in Spain, Britain and Israel. Committed to public and community archaeology, Dr Fluck co-organised the successful ‘Innovations’ conference held Southampton in 2007, is a leader with the Andover YAC and enables community archaeological activities and Lithic Studies Society events. Between 2008 and 2015 Dr Fluck served as Senior Archaeologist for Hampshire providing archaeological advice to planning authorities and coordinating the management of archaeological sites.
