Grounds for election

Holding a national profile in archives administration, Charlotte is Archives and Records Association (ARA) Registration Scheme assessor and Joint Editor of ARA’s peer-reviewed 'Archives and Records' journal. Former roles include: ARA Board member/Chair of ARA Southwest Region and former Chair of SW Federation of Museums. She took part in Hereford Cathedral's 2015 Magna Carta global tour and is experienced in new-build and digitisation projects, improving preservation and access to UK heritage collections. A fluent Danish speaker, her major research is in Scandinavian translation and children’s literature. Published papers include 2014 ‘Pippi and the dreaming spires: Nordic children’s literature and Oxford University Press’, in B J Epstein ed. True North: Literary Translation in the Nordic Countries. Professional papers include (with Tom Greeves) 'A Devon man of letters: the papers of Ernest Martin at the University of Exeter’, Book Collector, 60(2).
