Grounds for election

Mr Bellamy has worked for Historic England and its predecessor organisations for 15 years, listing buildings and advising on other heritage assets in Cheshire, Suffolk, the Northern Home Counties and the West Midlands. He has a broad overview of English polite and vernacular architecture, and has led and organised projects connected with a variety of themes including disability, public houses, prisons and C20 commercial office buildings. He has previously served on the Disability Steering Group, and currently serves on the Places of Worship Network, within Historic England. Previously, Mr Bellamy worked for the auctioneers’ Christie’s in their Old Master Paintings Department, and for the commercial galleries Colnaghi and Heim, where he organized the loan showing of the Tabley House collection and wrote catalogues for a variety of exhibitions, including ‘The Painted Word’ (with Peter Cannon-Brookes and Martin Butlin), an exhibition of British History pictures after Reynolds
