Grounds for election

An established polymath whose experience ranges from the Neolithic of Ireland to the Plantations of Ulster, from the study of early teeth to the interpretation of ancient erosional processes, whose current work is uncovering a new synthesis of Maltese Archaeology by combining new dating, environmental information and fieldwork data in close collaboration with Maltese colleagues. He has contributed widely to intertational journals and to the volume An archaeology of Northern Ireland, 1600–1650 (2016).
