Grounds for election

Diocesan archivist, editor, historian and Catholic priest. His work, from the 'History of the Diocese of Brentwood' 1917-1992 (1994) to 'Deceased clergy of the Diocese'(2013), has made a seminal contribution to Catholic history and Essex local studies from the Reformation to the present day.There are also over fifteen parish histories, with many contributions to journals,and much committee and editorial work for the Catholic Archives Society, the Catholic Record Society< the Essex Recusant.
