Author of 'A Brotherhood of Canons Serving God: English secular cathedrals in the Middle Ages, (Boydell and Brewer, 1995) and, (with Nicholas Orme, 'Death and Memory in Medieval Exeter' (Devon and Cornwall Record Society, 2003), as well as articles in English Historical Review, The Journal of Ecclesiastical History, and Harlaxton Medieval Studies.
