Grounds for election

An authority on medieval wall painting from the 14th-16th centuries. Teaches at the University of Leicester, Nottingham, Warwick, Oxford and Cambridge. Has published many articles on the iconography, style and meaning of wall paintings in Britain. Recent projects include: 2015: Report on the 14th-century wall paintings in the north transept of Ely Cathedral 2012: Christianity and Culture, University of York, Cathedrals and Monasteries. Interactive DVD-ROM, articles on Medieval and post-Reformation wallpaintings 2011: Churches Conservation Trust, Discover Wallpaintings Project.
