Grounds for election

Dr Fennelly is a Lecturer in Heritage at the University of Lincoln. She gained her undergraduate BA (Hons) (2007) and MA Archaeology (2008) from University College Dublin, and her PhD from the University of Manchester in 2013. Her doctoral research on the archaeology of the lunatic asylum has been published in several venues including World Archaeology, and a monograph is currently in preparation, to be published by Manchester University Press. Dr Fennelly worked as a Research Assistant on the Sarah Island Archaeology Project, and as a Heritage Research Archaeologist for Allen Archaeology, before joining the University of Sheffield in 2015. While at Sheffield, she directed excavations on a Victorian bandstand at Firth Park. She joined the School of History and Heritage at Lincoln in 2017, where she is involved in curriculum development, and Lincoln Conservation. She serves as a council member for the Society for Post-Medieval Archaeology and is an assistant editor of the journal.
