Grounds for election

Following undergrad excavations UK & Europe, post-grad archaeologist/post-ex manager for EH Maiden Castle, then fieldworker in Middle East. Wessex Archaeology 1989-2004 including management of CTRL contracts including prehistoric/Roman remains at Springhead (Oxford/Wessex monograph 'Setting of the Ebbsfleet Valley'). Managed/supervised & publication contribution to major projects including Battlesbury hillfort & Sutton Poyntz. Joined RPS (current role) 2004 providing heritage/consultancy to private & public sector clients managing major infrastructure schemes such as Gatwick R2, A30 Bodmin to Indian Queens, A354 Weymouth Relief Road (incl. pit of 100 decapitated Vikings), A465 Heads of Valley road, Wales, M4 Corridor around Newport, a series of major wind-farm projects and overseas gas and oil exploration projects. Also seconded to Crossrail. He is a well known a Public/Local Plan Inquiry specialist. He has published on sites of all periods - with prehistory a specialism.
