Grounds for election

L. Mulvin is an academic with interests ranging from classical antiquity, particularly the Roman period, and Medieval Ireland to architectural history, the reception of monuments in the 18th-19th c. and museum collections. She is Irish Titular Member and Irish Partner in a EA/EU Creative Europe Cultures project (2015-2018) on Connecting Early Medieval European Collections, which will become a virtual exhibition. Her monographs include 'Late Roman Villas in the Danube-Balkan Region' and Roman and Byzantine Antiquities in the National Museum of Ireland. She is currently working on the publication of the Roman finds from Drumanagh, North Co. Dublin and concurrently on the Roman ceramics for the monograph of the Irish Institute survey project in Kefalonia (Greece). Her other publications include edited volumes: A Culture of Translation: British and Irish Scholarship in the Gennadius Library (1740-1840) and the The Fusion of Neo-Classical Principles.
