Grounds for election

Grahame Appleby has research interests in the Iron Age to Roman transition and landscape, prehistoric and Roman metalwork, Historiography and use of archival material, and Public archaeology. He is the author of several journal articles and reports, and is a co-author with C Evans FSA and S Lucy FSA of the recent monographs on Prehistoric and Roman Mucking and on Roman Colne Fen, Earith. Prior to taking up his current post in 2016 in Leicester, he was Senior Research Officer with the Cambridge Archaeological Unit between 2005-2016.
