Jo Buckberry is Senior Lecturer in Biological Anthropology and head of the Biological Anthropology Research Centre at Bradford University. She is currently the secretary of the Paleopathology Association and has previously served as grants secretary and as a non-executive committee member for the British Association for Biological Anthropology and Osteoarchaeology (BABAO). Jo is an established scholar in the field of palaeopathology and understanding the archaeology of Early Medieval and Medieval death and burial, with extensive and important publications in the field.
