Grounds for election

Graham Keevill is a consultant, principal of Keevill Heritage Ltd based at Didcot, with more than 35 years of professional archaeological experience, on a freelance basis since 1999. He is consultant archaeologist to the cathedrals of Rochester, Salisbury, Blackburn and Christ Church Oxford and also to the major church of Tewkesbury Abbey. He has been the sole author or a major contributor to around 30 Conservation Plans and equivalent documents. He has particular interest in ecclesiastical and monastic archaeology, with a major role in the excavation and publication of work at Eynsham Abbey, and has published a book-length study of the archaeology of medieval palaces. Most recently he has managed and is completing the investigation and recording associated with the HLF-funded Hidden Treasures project at Rochester Cathedral, drawing successfully upon extensive experience of working under pressure in an inter-disciplinary environment.
