Grounds for election

Librarian, Continuing Education lecturer and researcher specialising in Archaeology and the History of Archaeology. The UCL Institute of Archaeology Library is an international research library ensuring that collections of historical importance are maintained and materials purchased support teaching and research at the Institute and reflect wider trends within the discipline. Adviser on developing open access, archives and special collections. Widely involved in digitization ,e.g. The Childe Skara Brae notebooks. Currently involved in training in research methods and the use of archaeological literature in all formats, including electronic and ‘grey’ literature, archives and subject-specific databases for students and researchers. Currently involved in research on the political career and thought of Vere Gordon Childe, which has received little systematic study. Member of HARN (Histories of Archaeology Research Network) and the Higher Education Academy.
