Grounds for election

Eliott worked as a Site Assistant for Birmingham University Field Archaeology Unit and Pre-Construct Archaeology before becoming a Senior Archaeologist for the latter.He then worked freelance undertaking consultancy, project management and site direction before joining the Thames Discovery Programme becoming Project Officer in 2016. He has written/co-written approximately 140 site reports and a number of publications, predominantly concerned with London’s nautical archaeology, most recently Cohen, N and Wragg E with Cotton, J and Milne, G, 2017, The river’s tale: the archaeology of the Thames in Greater London, London: MOLA. He has presented papers to community groups and societies, national and international conferences and universities. He is a member of the Nautical Archaeology Society (and was a Trustee Director 2010-2016). He is also a Research Associate at the Centre for Applied Archaeology and an Honorary Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Archaeology (both UCL).
