Grounds for election

Natasha is a professional archaeologist and osteologist who has worked throughout the UK and Ireland since 1996. In 1999 she began working on the major cemetery excavations at Spitalfields market. Since then she has researched aspects of the osteology and funerary archaeology of assemblages dating from the prehistoric to the post-medieval, with a particular focus on London. As Head of Osteology and Research Coordinator at MOLA she was instrumental in obtaining the company’s status as an IRO. She is now Senior Manager at Allen Archaeology Ltd and is involved in a major international research project with colleagues in Berlin studying the early medieval population of the city. She has recently obtained a grant to study the funerary archaeology of Roman Lincoln. Natasha is widely published and has edited and peer reviewed monographs and journal articles. She also co-authored the Home Office guidance for forensic archaeology and is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Bradford.
