Grounds for election

Louise Loe is Head of Heritage Burial Services at Oxford Archaeology. She is a Member of CIfA and BABAO, and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Universities of Oxford and Reading. Louise has 20 years' experience in Osteoarchaeology and provides guidance, advice and quality assurance on all its aspects, having worked on significant Roman, medieval and post-medieval assemblages. Projects include Lankhills, Winchester; Stoke Quay, Ipswich; Swinton Unitarian burial ground; Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford; a Viking mass grave near Weymouth, and WWI mass graves at Fromelles, N France. Louise serves on the Fromelles identification board for the Australian government. She is Co-investigator on an OA and University of Oxford HEIF-funded project, ‘The Past People of Oxfordshire’ and a project collaborator on aDNA and oral health during the Industrial Revolution. She is lead author and has contributed osteology reports for many monographs and journals, and acts as referee for international journals.
