Grounds for election

Alice Forward is a highly experienced and able archaeologist who specializes in the material culture of the post-Conquest Middle Ages and Early Modern Period, with particular expertise in settlement sites in Wales. She is currently Research Associate for a Leverhulme Trust-funded project 'The Vale of Medieval Objects', and has worked for English Heritage as an Artefact Specialist, Finds Supervisor and Archives Curator, as well as for the National Museum of Wales and the Portable Antiquities Scheme. Her publications include reports on medieval settlements at Cosmeston and St Ishmael in South Wales, and on the post-Roman European collections of the Pitt-Rivers Museum together with a considerable amount of grey literature. She is greatly valued as an extremely able colleague.
