Grounds for election

Emma Dwyer is an archaeologist based at MOLA, who specialises in the urban built environment of the 19th to 21st centuries. Her PhD research examined social housing built between 1870 and 1930, in London, Birmingham and Liverpool, and the manifestation of housing policy in the built environment.She was previously Enterprise Fellow for Heritage at Leicester University, and before that a Senior Archaeologist in the Standing Buildings team at MOLA where she supervised building recording projects associated with the development of large infrastructure, including the Olympic Park site in Stratford and the extension of the East London Line, on which she has published (Dwyer, E, 2011. The impact of the railways in the East End 1835-2010: historical archaeology from the London Overground East London line). Emma is Honorary Secretary of the Society for Post-Medieval Archaeology, having previously served as the SPMA's Treasurer.
