Dr George Nash has over thirty year’s archaeological experience working in Britain and many areas of the world that possess prehistoric rock art. Dr Nash has also undertaken a number of high profile academic and commercial projects including excavations at la Hougue Bie (Jersey), Delancey Park (Guernsey) and Westminster Hall (London). In addition to fieldwork, Dr Nash has written and presented for television and radio, and has published over 24 edited, co-edited and single-authored books, along with over 120 papers and articles, many peer-reviewed. Current projects include fieldschools in Portugal and Italy as well as setting-up academic ties between Santiago (Chile) and Tomar (Portugal. Academic Qualifications: BA Archaeology and Environmental Studies 1989; MPhil on Mesolithic portable art from Southern Scandinavia 1993; PGCE in Further and Higher Education 1994; DPhil in Norwegian and Spanish Levantine Spain hunter-gatherer rock art (2003).
