Grounds for election

Dr Kershaw held the Randall MacIver Studentship in Archaeology at The Queen’s College, Oxford (2009-11), during which time she completed her PhD thesis on Viking-age Scandinavian female jewellery. Her current 3-year, BA-funded, project at UCL is entitled ‘The Bullion Economy of Viking England’. She has published a book entitled ‘Viking Identities: Scandinavian Jewellery in England’ (OUP, 2013), and related articles on Late Anglo-Saxon, Viking and Anglo-Scandinavian ornamental metalwork, with a major review (forthcoming) of ‘Scandinavian and Anglo-Scandinavian metalwork from Wessex’.
