Grounds for election

His work covers research, paint analysis, colour & technical advice and colour surveys. Projects have ranged from Tudor heraldry; Baroque churches; country houses; wartime RAF stations and London social housing estates to structures such as Tower Bridge. He lectures widely and has published numerous articles and chapters. Author of ‘The Anatomy of Colour’. He has also co-curated two exhibitions ‘A Countryman in Town: Robert Bevan and the Cumberland Market Group’ & ‘The Artists Rifles: From Pre-Raphaelites to Passchendaele’. He is archivist of The Artists Rifles and was a Trustee of the Georgian Group for over 20 years.
