Felicity Myrone is Lead Curator of Western Prints and Drawings, British Library. Having previously worked in the Department of Prints and Drawings, British Museum, she now has responsibility for the historic prints and drawings in the British Library’s collections. She is currently overseeing the cataloguing and digitisation of the King’s Topographical Collection and also leading ‘Transforming Topography’, the related research project on the library’s wider topographical collections, one outcome of which is the website ‘Picturing Places’. Her publications include articles on ‘Prints and drawings at the British Museum and British Library’, ‘Peter van Lerberghe: Artist, printmaker and "capital" collector’, ‘J. M.W. Turner and his World: John Platt (1842-1902), a Late Victorian Extra-illustrator, and his Collection’, and ‘"The Monarch of the Plain”: Paul Sandby and Topography’, this latter in Paul Sandby (1731-1809): Picturing Britain, published by the Royal Academy in 2009.
